2mal Windows auf Raid 0

Hi@all,

ich hab das noch nie gemacht, daher frage ich mal. Ich will 2 Windows Installationen auf einem Raid 0 System machen. Also werde ich das 160GB grosse Raid 0 in 4 Partitionen aufteilen. 2 Partitionen für die Windows Installationen, eine Partition für Programme (es werden keine Programme doppelt installiert, also Windows Installation 1 hat nur Software, die Windows Installation 2 nicht hat) und Partition 4 ist nur als Datenplatte gedacht. Werde ich damit Probleme bekommen? Und werde ich ein Auswahlmenü beim booten haben?

Tja, keine Antwort bedeutet wohl, das das ohne Probleme klappt. Ich frage mich gerade, warum ich das überhaupt gefragt hab.

Das mit deiner Programme Partition versteh ich nicht ganz. Du musst die Programme doppelt installieren, welche Registry Einträge vornehmen.
Wenn du unterschiedliche Win Versionen benutzt musst du das Ältere zuerst installieren. Z. B. zuerst 98, dann 2000 oder XP. Oder zuerst 2000 und dann XP.

Nein, denn die verschiedenen Windows Installationen sollen nicht dieselbe Software benutzen. Daher sollte eine Programm-Partition ausreichen....

Und warum installierst du die Software nicht in die jeweiligen Windows Partitionen? :
