Aquaero 5 - 2 pin device voltage control?

Sunday, May 29th 2011, 12:40pm

Hi does anyone know if the Aquaero 5 or PA2 can voltage regulate a 2 pin device with RPM sense on the 3 pin fan header?
I can only get full voltage or off and nothing in between even though I have a preset value and minimum RPM set to 0.
Trying to get a D5 voltage controlled. I have 2 with RPM wire and 2 without.

Found the answer for myself.

I hooked the PA2 upto usb for a look with the old aquasuite 4.72 and noticed the startup boost parameter "active when no speed signal is measured" was checked. This is missing from Aquasuite2012.
By turning this off while connected to USB and reconnecting to A5 via aquabus I was able to then adjust the D5 by voltage without an RPM signal!

Can you please add this parameter to a later version of 2012 and maybe also to the firmware of the A5???

The A5 controls 2pin device by voltage just fine without rpm signal without any config changes.

Cheers!
