SPLITTY9 ACTIVE – Can a single channel draw the full 4.5A/54W?

Hi all,

The SPLITTY9 ACTIVE is rated for 4.5A / 54W total (from its SATA connector). I want to confirm: Can I draw the entire 4.5A from just one of its 9 channels if the other channels are unused?

My use case: a 12V fan drawing 1.8A normally, with possible spikes during startup. (Delta BFB1012VH)

If I connect only this fan to one channel, will the SPLITTY9 ACTIVE handle the full current without issue?

Der SPLITTY9 ACTIVE hat eine Gesamtleistung von 4,5A / 54W (über den SATA-Anschluss). Ich möchte bestätigen: Kann ich die gesamten 4,5A von nur einem der 9 Kanäle abrufen, wenn die anderen Kanäle ungenutzt bleiben?
