According to an official information from ABIT website,

ABIT KG7 / KG7-RAID mainboard supports AthlonXP by just a BIOS upgrade.

ABIT KT7A / KT7A-RAID V1.3 also supports AthlonXP by just a BIOS upgrade.

ABIT KT7 / KT7-RAID / KT7E and all of the following verions of KT7A/KT7A-RAID
V1.0/1.1/1.2 mainboard does not support the Athlon XP processor.

As for KT7 and KT7A old revisions are designed before AMD announced Athlon
XP, there are not hardware compatible with these new processors!

=> also erst ab Rev. 1.3

is mit rev.1.3 das gemeint was auf dem aufkleber mit dem strichkode steht??????
wenn ja dann is das echt scheisse weil bei mir nnämlich Ver. 1.1 steht!!

ja dieser aufkleber auf dem äußeren ISA-Slot - da steht die rev. drauf.

ps: muss nachher heimrennen und mal nachschauen was ich eigentlich habe.

hey ich hab im hardocp forum grad nen thread gelesen wo einer nen xp 1700 auf nem board unter der rev.1.3 laufen hatte mit den neuesten update zu der rev.
das einzige is das die die orginal mhz zahl anzeigen und nich das rating
