I could not get my pumps to work correctly either. Aquaero would never make connection. Did not spend a lot of time working with them. Says in the paper work that came with mine that they will stop if temperature rises too much. Could not take a risk like that. Those style pumps were a little to noisy for me anyways. I have also found out that turning off the power supply or unplugging it if there was no switch. Then hold the power switch down to get all the electricity drained out of the system...
McGreggor - Did you remember to change the aquabus channels when you hook the PA2s to the usb? They can be anywhere from 50-57. Each one has to be different. Do you have any thing else connected to the aquaero?
zer0patches - If you had as many problems with this stuff as I you would not disagree, Seems like the problems you had were your own fault, Try changing your hardware around using different combinations and I think you will encounter some of the problems as myself and others on here. I still think the company could do better!
I started this tread to get changes. I see that their is several problems with aqua computers stuff that they are unwilling to admit. Eventually enough is an enough. Admit you have a problem, put your big boy paints on, then try to fix it. You can only sweep so much under the rug before it becomes noticeable. It is kinda of like strike at work. Lets all join together, state our problems here. #1 - Fix issue with items disappearing and reappearing or not even recognized in aquasuite 2012 example ...
How come you did not tell us about what changed or a beta version?
More and more people are starting to have these problems. I do not know why aquacomputer will hot just admit there is a problem. It is like they do not want to fool with it. They need to do something other than try to sweep this issue under the rug. Overall it could be bad for their business. Bad news always travels faster and further than good news!
I deleted the aquasuite 2012 folder and it still has some of the previous setting. I even chose no for using previous settings during the install too. I think I am going to try running this stuff on a completely different computer that has never had any of it before. Will the results be the same?
I always use the full recovery mode. What is the point of the mini recovery?
What about releasing a beta version for us to try?
Just curious about that software update. Is a release date set and what has changed?

I have some problems too. I think it is their software. I am still trying somethings. What version of windows are you running? Here is a few things to try - right click on the icon and choose open from the list - the task bar can sometimes hide icons, check windows task manager - redownload aquasuite from website with another computer then try reloading - try connecting to different usb port on motherboard - move stuff around like temp sensors or flow meters if you have any - hard reset on the a...
I have found it is easiest for me to use an internal usb cable to connect all the right channels for the hard reset. My aquaero is still mounted in the case. Those jumpers are hard to find when you drop them. I think the cable I'm using is from an old t-balancer controller. Just make sure the colors are the same on each channel.
Tell us more about your problem. Do you get any kind of error messages, change software, hardware, update windows?
I wonder if they just forgot to put them on or was it not supposed to have them.
I still think these problems have something to do with the software. I have tried the hard reset, moving temp sensors and flow meters many times. The power adjust will not communicate with the aquaero. Could the power adjust be bad? As I have said before, works fine on the usb. I always turn the power off at the power supply too. Every time I reinstalling aquasuite it ask me about the previous settings. Nobody has mentioned this besides me. Does this happen to anyone else?
How do you do a clean install of Aquasuite 2012 - 6 64 bit?
I spent a lot of time today trying to get the aquaero to connect to the power adjust 2. I discovered something. Every time I uninstall the software and reinstall it it ask me if I would like to keep the previous settings or something like that. Even if I choose no there is somethings remembered from before. Does anyone know where that file is or where it stores that information? That information needs to be erased in order to get a clean install.
I have tried doing a complete reset and reinstall of everything. I am still not getting a communication between the aquaero and the power adjust 2. The usb connection works fine. This about the Program Data is new to me. Can you tell me more about that? When I uninstalled aquasuite 2012 there was a folder still there by that name. I just deleted it, which actually put it in the recycle bin. I permanently deleted it from there. Did a restart. Everything appeared to be gone. Do I need to use a drive sweeper on it? Namron First of all let me say great work on those guides. I did not expect to see you reply with the same thing going on. Thought you were the guru on these things. Actually thought about asking you how to fix my problem. I know you have worked with this stuff a lot. Do you think you might know what is causing this to happen or any way to prevent it? We have to convince aqua computers there is a problem in order to get a solution.
Everybody that has this problem needs to come forward to let them know that there really is something wrong..We need to stay on them about it. That is the only way to get this fixed. I just wonder if it is a version of windows causing it or an update. Maybe a conflict with other software. Lets start putting the version of windows we use at the end of the message. I had the same problems. Everything was working great until I disconnected a d5 pump to replace it with a different kind. Now I want to use a power adjust 2 ultra to control the replacement pump. When I connect it to the usb everything show up in aquasuite and work fine. The problem is when I connect it to the aquaero 5 there is nothing.
