Thank you for the advice. I've already returned the Kryos block and after talking to some other on forums, think I am going to return both GPU blocks and try a different brand. I was really hoping for the best from Aquacomputer.

Hi, I've recently ordered two 6970 nickel blocks and the nickel Kryos XT from various sources. I have seen both cosmetic flaws, nickel plating that is flaking off and larger amounts of oxidation and grime on parts which is not what I expected based on what I've seen online from Aquacomputer. I've returned the CPU block already but am worried that I am not getting the best quality parts.
