What is the purpose of a leakshield? I know the name should speak for itself, but wanted to know why someone would use this in their system? What advantage it gives? Thanks...
I have the AQ6 XT that I purchased back in 2016 that sat unused until this year. One of the reasons I bought it back then was because I wanted to see what was going on with the system and it was prominent back then because computer cases had 5 1/4 bays . Fast forward several years now and the Octo and Quadro exists making the AQ6 pretty much obsolete for my build. I will be updating my 2nd PC and I am not even considering an AQ6 of any kind because the Octo or Quadro can do all that I need and w...
Quoted from "ATR911" ...I don't understand why EVERY water cooled build doesn't at least use a QUADRO). I do, however, find that the lack of resources to support AC products makes the barrier of entry a little difficult but maybe that adds to the niche (dare I suggest elitism) of the product... I think the phrase in bold lettering answers your question as to why many probably don't use AQ products. The manuals leaves a lot to be desired. It almost kept me from diving in but I am too stubborn an...
Quoted from "LiquidMX" Quoted from "sebastian" We have updated the installer today. There is now an option to ignore the Net Runtime check and install anyway. But the Net 7 Runtime is needed, without it the software will not run. Thanks for that, installation wen't without problems and whole aquasuite running smoothly. To confirm. Even though it was stated that Aquasuite would not run without the Net 7 Runtime, yours is working?
Shoggy, when will the 150 and 200 Pro reservoirs be back in stock?
I have 2x D5 pumps connected to the AQ6 as well as connected to USB. I have both pumps at a preset speed (50%). However, the AQ6 shows pumps at 33% output levels even though the flow rate is actually 50% of the pumps max speed. Strangely, the AQ6 rpms are reported correctly at 50%, yet it does not show the correct pump output. The MPS tab shows the correct pump output at 50%. It is my understanding, according to the manual, that even though the pumps are connected to both USB and the AQ6, the AQ...
Anyone try this and been able to get things working correctly?
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" According to the Change Log this firmware updates calibration for all flow sensors, did you notice any change to flow sensor data? High Flow Next w/firmware 1016 X66 flow rate: 2.5 l/m X67 flow rate: 2.5 l/m Curious. How fast do you have your pump(s) set to run?
Is it this one that was posted in the Change Log? New: aquasuite X
Quoted from "Remayz" damn, i just gained almost 20L/h. free upgrades lol the DP Ultra / water drop down list, i wonder what to chose when we use a 3rd party coolant. Do you get any other options in the drop down list?
Quoted from "sebastian" You cant setup calibration values for High Flow Next Sensors. This is for all sensors that are directly connected to a device like the octo, quadro .... The new calibration values are selected when you select the type of flow sensor in the Sensor tab of each device. That is good to know. I have 1 flow sensor connected via Octo. Will I get this option if I have the Octo connected to the AQ via an Aquabus connection.
Quoted from "Hopper64" I installed over the top without uninstalling the prior version, but it looks like the installer simply overwrote the prior version. Only 7.0.3 is visible in add/remove programs in windows. Seems to be functioning correctly. According to the Change Log this firmware updates calibration for all flow sensors, did you notice any change to flow sensor data?
Use some silicone from the big box store or silicone used for fish tanks if you can't find parts.

I created multiple backups in Aquaero 6. Is it possible to delete the backups that are no longer needed? If so, how do delete them? Thanks...
I agree, get a splitter that reports rpm. I had a 4x fan splitters that did not report rpms and the fan rpm was all over the place. I finally was able to get the AQ splitty 9 and now the fan's rpms are pretty consistent and steady. Big difference. Did you change your fan splitter?
Not 100% sure but I think you may be able to sync the memory RGB with the MD. I have the Asus X670E Hero MB and was able to sync the CPU cooler with the MB RGB. Are you going to water cool the 4090?
Quoted from "Speedy-VI" Quoted from "Methodical" If you connect all those devices to the Hubby and connect the Hubby to the PCs USB will each device show up in Aquasuite as individual devices? Yes each device will show up in Aquasuite. I have an Octo, D5 Next, High Flow Next, Leakshield, and 2 Farbwerk360's divided between 2 internal USB hubs (Hubby7 and NZXT Gen-3).The tabs for each device appear when they are connected via USB and establish communication with Aquasuite. Using a hub to bring t...
Hello. I am new to working with led lights and considering adding a couple led strips to my PC. However, I see Aquasuite offers two flavors of Leds. 1. What are the differences between the RGB leds and the RGBpx leds light strips other than the point of connection? 2. When installing leds is it best to use a strip that is almost the full length of the case or a few inches shorter than the length of the case for best lighting? Thanks...Al
If you connect all those devices to the Hubby and connect the Hubby to the PCs USB will each device show up in Aquasuite as individual devices?
I had to do some cable management and had to remove and reinstall the USB cables and as a result Aquasuite is working fine now. Thanks...Al
Thanks. I will to the reset and see what happens.
When I open Aquaero fan settings tab in Aquasuite the settings tabs look weird. It's missing sliders, power settings etc and I can't make any adjustments. Can someone take a look at the photo and tell me what could be wrong and what I need to do to get the settings capabilities back? Is it bug'n out on me? Thanks...Al
I have one and I think it's a goner, just like my D5 pumps with USB/Aquabus.
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" You've probably already done this, but first thing I would check is the USB cable integrity and polarity I moved the cable to a different USB input and all is good. I can see both pumps now. Always trial and tribulations with newly built systems. Thanks...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" Question. I just started my system and the fans are connected to the AQ6 and running at 100%. I need to bring down the fan speed a bit until I have the time to adjust and setup the system. Can I just set the fans to a fixed speed such as 50% in Aquasuite? Also, can this be done with the pumps, too? The AQ is connected via USB for now. How is this done? Thanks...Al Yes, if the aquaero is controlling your fans, select the port, choose 'Power prese...

Quoted from "sebastian" Quoted from "Methodical" Can you tell me how the temp sensor work on the D5 pump and does it provide the temporary reading for the water in the system. you can connect an external temperature sensor with the d5 (mps) controller and read this sensor values. the pump has no integrated sensor. So it’s basically another temperature sensor input that can be used to get temp readings from some area of the computer.
Quoted from "sebastian" The simple and working version is: Connect ervery device with Power and USB. Everything other you can configure with the aquasuite. Thanks. One more thing. Can you tell me how the temp sensor work on the D5 pump and does it provide the temporary reading for the water in the system. This is the old D5 pump with USB, Aquabus, RPM and Temp sensor and not the new Next D5 pump.
I have reviewed all the manuals for the components I have and the manual for the pumps have conflicting statements; in one section it states to connect power to pump via the PSU (Section 8.4) and in another section it states that once you connect the Aquabus to the Aquaero, it gets power via that connection (Section 9.2). Those are conflicting statements and that is why I am asking these questions to get clarification. These manuals don't seem to be updated because they still list parts that no ...
Hello again. I have a few additional questions about the D5 pump and the OCTO. I have two older D5 pumps (41093) and have the following questions. 1. How does the temperature sensor work on the D5 pump? If connected to the OCTO or Aquero 6 XT does it provide the temperature reading of the coolant in the system? Does the temp sensor on the pump have any other uses? 2. According to the Aquaero 6 manual, the D5 pump can be connected to the Aquaero via a 4 pin Aquabus cable and as a result the pump ...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" Question...Is there any benefit of having a device connected to both the Aquaero and the MB, for instance 2 pumps? I really think I want to have the pumps just connected to the MB so that I can set them in the software because It is kind of cumbersome to set things via the Aquaero, even with the keyboard. But if making both connections provides some sort of backup, then I'll consider both connections. No, having pumps controlled by both the MB a...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" 1. Can I use this extension cable (53163) with the sensor? 2. Is this extension cable basically a 4 pin fan extension cable? Yes & yes Quoted 3. If I connect accessories to the Aquaero, can they be controlled by both the software and Aquaero or do I have to designate which does the controlling? Or, when connected to the Aquaero, it becomes the controller? Most devices with an aquabus connector will pass data directly to the aquaero on the aquabu...
Question... I have the Caselab STH10 case and it has separate waterloops for the CPU and GPU. I want to install the Aquacomputer Calitemp digital temp sensors in each loop at the radiators. However. the cable is too short to reach from the radiator located at the bottom of the case to the top where the Aquaero is mounted. I searched and found the Fan/Aquabus extension cable (53163). https://shop.aquacomputer.de/product_inf…roducts_id=3183 1. Can I use this extension cable (53163) with the sensor...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" Thanks for the feedback. So, should I just hold off on X.62 since X.59 is the latest stable version and wait to see if X.62 gets fixed? That is a personal decision, insider means Beta, so bug possibility is higher. Two things to consider: 1. is there a feature or function that you need/want in the Beta version 2. are you comfortable using a Beta version... Beta does not mean bad software, just not fully tested Ok. Thanks. I am new to all of this...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" Quoted from "Methodical" I finally connected the Aquaero 6xt to my computer for the 1st time even though I've had the equipment since 2016 (never completed the build) and installed the software. The software installed version X.59 and the license and updates are good until 12.5.24. I assume because it was never installed and looked upon as a new device. It did not install the X.61 as mentioned above as the latest update. Will I eventually get X.61? There is a check box ...

Quoted from "GTXJackBauer" Just purchase 2-pin MB extension cables . That's what I did when I needed longer cables from my past projects. Thanks. I have a couple of those in my wish list, but was not sure as the description refers to fans. Also, I just know I saw that unit with the 100cm cable.
I need a temp sensor with a longer cable than this one. During my research, I recall seeing this same temp sensor with a 100cm cable, however, I can't seem to locate it now. Performance only has the sensor with 60cm cable. Does Aquacomputer sell this sensor with a longer cable? Is there an extension cable? Can I use another sensor with the AQ6? Thanks
Ok, what all do I need to run this controller? I see all kinds of names on that 1st post (Aquasuite, Aquaduct, Aquastream Ultimate). I downloaded the Aquasuite software linked on the 1st page, is that all that's needed to run this controller or is there other software that needs to be downloaded in addition to what's linked on the 1st page? Thanks
Quoted from "Shoggy" Quoted from "Methodical" I see you received a lot of views, but no help. That is not true. He also contacted us directly via e-mail and we continued the conversation this way. Cool, but I only could go off what I saw (or did not see) in the thread.
