RGBpx cable/pinout identification help (making my own RGBpx to aRGB cables)

Quoted from "darrecky" I believe I did it properly. Bumps as per 1st attachment are underneath, not on top. So it is slide to the socket as on 2nd attachment. I can only see 3 options here: 1. due to poor connection (bare wires slided into argb plug) there was connection issue - as Remayz suggested in earlier post "if your wire has a high enough resistance, it could be "seen" as a load by the quadro, and not create a high enough current to trigger a...

RGBpx cable/pinout identification help (making my own RGBpx to aRGB cables)

Quoted from "InfoSeeker" I smoked an RGBpx cable once because I used a premade Molex PicoBlade cable. The premade PicoBlade cables are pinned out 1-4, 2-3, 3-2, 4-1 (see pin-out in schematic below). The wire guage are 28 AWG UL 1061, if your wire are smaller than 28 AWG, that may be your problem. Also, double check your pin-out to ensure it is RGBpx compliant, opposite from schematic below. I don't see the schematic you referred to.

RGBpx cable/pinout identification help (making my own RGBpx to aRGB cables)

Quoted from "darrecky" Hello everyone, I'll dig out this thread, as I've experienced some problem while moddind 3 pin argb to Quadro RGBpx header. A little over year ago I've succeed, connected 3x Arctic Cooling fans to D5 Next pump, all still working well. Recently using same method, identical Molex cable (bought 5 at that point) I've failed miserably - +5V cable literally melted. Prior to installation I've checked everything, there were no shorts, +5 and GND where should be, data was in right...

New (sorta) Lots of questions!

Quoted from "ATR911" Any feedback on non AC coolants working with the leakshield and the NEXT flow sensor? Don't use EK Cryofuel if you want to use the High Flow Next Water Quality sensor. This is a conductivity sensor that can measure from 2 to 200 uS/cm. Aquacomputer DP Ultra conductivity starts out very low - around 5uS/cm. The conductivity increases over time. When it reaches 100uS/cm they recommend replacing the coolant. EK Cryofuel spec states that its conductivity is 1.04ms/cm (1040uS/cm...

Operator Error ?

I just updated to X.67 and .NET v7.03. After doing that (without any trouble) I checked the Flow Rate sensors on both the HFN in my test loop since the X.67 update included adjustments to the calibration of flow sensors. The values reported were about the same, and still about 10 l/hr apart. I then noticed that HFN #2 was set to Distilled but HFN #1 was set to DP Ultra. I am running distilled with Primochill Utopia and I am sure I set them both to Distilled. So either this setting somehow got ch...

High Flow Next Flow Rate & Conductivity Accuracy

Quoted from "InfoSeeker" One wonders if these HFNs are actually calibrated to a standard prior to release. Probably not, but then their purpose is more to show difference over time than absolute accuracy out of the box. Agreed. I suspect they are not calibrated at the factory and perhaps that is reasonable for a flow sensor that is intended to install in a computer cooling loop and costs under $100. Perhaps I will vary the flow rate and see if they both report the same change in flow rate. Agai...

High Flow Next Flow Rate & Conductivity Accuracy

Thank you for the suggestion. I don't think turbulence caused by the spinner is the reason because there is ~ 2-ft of tubing between HFN-#1 and the spinner and ~ 1-ft of tubing between the spinner and HFN-#2. I may be wrong so I will remove the spinner and see what happens. The HFN is not a "lab grade" flow sensor. It may be that the difference in flow rate I am seeing is simply due to accuracy limitations of the sensor. I found the HFN spec which says it can measure flow rate from 0.7 l/min to ...

High Flow Next Flow Rate & Conductivity Accuracy

I read the Igor's lab comparison of the High Flow Next to a Thermaltake TF-1 and a Barrowch FBFT03 flow sensor. LINK. They found that the HFN was very accurate compared to a Keyence FD-Q10C precision flow sensor, while the TT and Barrowch were wildly inaccurate. I have a test loop set up which includes 2 High Flow Next flow sensors. D5 Next Out → alphacool rad (NexXxos ST30) → HFN #1 → - alphacool spinner flow indicator → HFN #2 → - Ball Valve → D5 Next In This test loop is quite simple. There i...

Aquacomputer could be selling way more of their existing products if they could keep up with demand. In the US, there are only a few distributors but they hardly ever have high demand Aquacomputer products in stock. D5 Next, Leakshield, and High Flow Next are almost impossible to find. Saliba00 has some great ideas but sadly, I think I have to agree with Mr. Krabs. I hesitate to say it in such a nasty way, but the I think the complete silence from Aquacomputer on the status of this product means development has stopped and there will not be an Aquacomputer GPU block for the RTX4090, FE, Asus Strix, or otherwise. They have already missed the window of opportunity to get a block to market. I suspect that most people who were waiting on Aquacomputer have already purchased a block...

HighFlow NEXT: RBG Ring schon wieder defekt..!?

I read your other posts. Regarding the conductivity sensor - the sensor can measure from 2 to 200 uS/cm. EK claims Cryofuel has "low electrical conductivity". The product page states that the conductivity of Cryofuel is 1.4 mS/cm +/-10% which is 1040 uS/cm. This is ~10x higher than the conductivity sensor in the High Flow Next can measure. DP Ultra’s conductivity starts out very low at ~5 uS/cm and increases over time as the corrosion inhibitor is consumed. When it gets up to ~100 uS/cm, Aquacom...

Color OLED, AMOLED, TFT, or LCD Displays in Aquacomputer products

They are quite small. I measured the display area at ~1.0"W x 0.5" high so ~1.118" diagonal. I have read posts from some who feel that the displays are pointless, at least on a CPU block. For devices like the D5 Next and LKS that may get powered up for loop testing while the main system is not powered, the displays are more useful since they allow the user to configure the device locally while AQS is offline, I don't know what the resolution of the Aquacomputer display is but something like THIS...
