Quoted from "Kruxarn" With X.81, overview pages no longer load automatically at startup, and the same issue persists with X.82. The Overview page I have selected to load with Aquasuite is working fine in AQS X.81 and X.82. I have had this happen before, but it was back in 2021 and Aquasuite X.47. In my case, after a lot of troubleshooting, it just started working again and I never did figure out what caused the problem. I posted about it and at the end of the thread there was THIS POST from haa...
Quoted from "joncl" The motherboard is a ASUS WRX80 which has a BMC. Without a fan signal, it continually reports alerts in its log. Thanks for the clarification. I looked up that mobo. It looks like it uses the optional ASMB9-iKVM module which Asus offers for some workstation boards, but it’s not a true server-grade BMC/IPMI system. Is there no way to disable the no-fan log reporting? Most mobos allow the CPU fan header to be disabled in the BIOS. Quoted from "joncl" I don't seem to be using f...
Quoted from "Shoggy" It is available now. Thank you! The cheapest option for shipping to the US is more than the price of the product so I am hoping these will be available from US Distributors like ModMyMods, Performance PCs, Titan Rig, and Frozen CPU. I just checked their websites and none of them have these in stock (yet). Titan Rig and Performance PCs don't have any Aquacomputer M.2 SSD coolers listed at all. Hopefully ModMyMod and/or FrozenCPU will order some of these.
Wow. This is a really well thought out setup that shows what Aquasuite is capable of. Congrats on getting it all set up and dialed in. I am curious about the IPMI reporting. Mainstream gaming and "workstation" motherboards typically do not support IPMI. Is your AMD TR 3975WX installed in a server motherboard? I am also curious why you had to adjust the values for the specific heat of water which is 4.186J/g°C (or 4186 J/kg°C), not 3500 J/kg°C, and not 4000J/kg°C. I understand that you adjusted t...
Quoted from "SgtSixpack" Quoted from "Speedy-VI" I had to disconnect the cable so I could boot, then get into Aquasuite to change the Alarm trigger. I did the same, I used shift on the restart button of the windows login page to find safemode, and uninstalled the program for a minute. Thank makes me feel better and you are not the first person who told me this also happened to them. Since this happened, Aquacomputer added the Maintenance Mode. There is an option to cause Aquasuite to start in M...
The Octo and high Flow Next have a Signal header that can be configured to output a temporary LOW (like a dry contact) across the pins. Cable #53216 plugs into the Signal header. The other end has a split cable - one side plugs into the Mobo power switch header. The wires from the case power switch plug into the other side. This puts the cable from the Signal header in parallel with the contacts from the power switch. I attached a picture with labels that show how this cable gets installed. When...
I searched for "kryoM.2 RGBpx" in the Aquacomputer online shop but nothing was found. Nothing in the M.2 SSD section either. Has the product been added to the shop yet? What is the Product Number?
Quoted from "sebastian" We always try to answer all questions as promptly as possible. Thank you for responding, and for clarifying the best way to get support from Aquacomputer. Since you replied in this thread, but not in the thread that contained details about my issue and my questions, I will repeat them here in an abbreviated format. Perhaps some kind user knows the answers, which could be shared here so that others with the same issue may see them. If I do not get a response here, I will ...
Thanks. I will try emailing Aquacomputer support. I wonder if their Official Support subreddit is no longer active.
I am wondering where the best place to get a response from Aquacomputer is -This forum or their [OFFICIAL SUPPORT] Aqua Computer - General Discussion & Support subreddit under r/Watercooling. I have used both in the past with mixed results but found that I usually had a better chance of getting a response in the OFFICIAL SUPPORT subreddit. My understanding is that this forum is more of a user's forum and as such, you may or may not get a response from Aquacomputer. The subreddit is named OFFICIA...
Quoted from "Remayz" competitors insist on using two ports for one device for no good reason, or maybe to sell more internal USB hubs i suppose. Corsair comes to mind again. I have 2 Lighting Node Cores in my build and they both have 10-pin USB connectors on them for no reason. Because of this, they eat 4 USB ports instead of 2. I have a LOT of USB devices, connected to 3 internal USB2.0 hubs and I greatly appreciate that Aquacomputer uses single-row 5-pin USB connectors on their devices. There...
My High Flow Next had a low-voltage alarm. I checked and the VCC5 USB voltage was sitting at about 4.3V. The High Flow Next is plugged into a Hubby7 along with an Octo, a Cuplex Kryos NEXT with VISION, and 2 Power Adjust 3s, none of which report VCC5 or VCC5 USB. The Hubby7 is connected to a USB2.0 port on another Hubby7 which is plugged into a header on my mobo. Both Hubby7s are powered by SATA power. My questions are: What is the difference between VCC5 and VCC5 USB? The High Flow Next is the ...
OP - you are not the first person to complain about the Molex power connector. The OCTO uses a Molex power connector because a SATA power connector cannot deliver the amount of power required. The Octo spec says it can pull 8A at 12VDC and 6A at 5VDC. SATA power connectors are limited to 4.5A at 12VDC and 4.5A at 5VDC. The Farbwerk 360 is another Aquacomputer device that uses Molex power so it can drive 90 LEDs per channel x 4 channels. FWIW, I have several Octo controllers and think they are th...
I am happy to hear that my rambling post was helpful. Calitemp sensors require Aquabus, so now I understand why you need the Aquaero. I have been meaning to add temp sensors so I can have Aquasuite calculate the amount of power (in watts) that my rads are dissipating but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I have It set up in the Playground but used constants for the rad temp inputs (for testing). I exported the setup and tried to attached the .XML file to this post but the forum said its a...
I will convey what I know about doing what you are trying to do, but I am curious about why you are trying to connect everything to the Aquaero controller in the first place. If you are running Windows, the Leakshield, D5 Next, Quadro, and Farbwerk360 all have a USB connection so you can connect these devices directly to the computer and then monitor and control them with Aquasuite. The Farbwerk (not 360) could be the USB/Bluetooth/Aquabus version (#53207) or the Aquabus version (#53170). Both o...
The High Flow Next spec says the conductivity sensor can measure from 2 to 200 uS/cm. The DP Ultra MSDS sheet says it contains 20 to 35% Ethylene Glycol and <1% Benzotriazole. Assuming the rest is distilled water, the conductivity of this mixture would be less than 1uS/cm. In reality, due to impurities, its typically about 10 uS/cm. The Mayhems X1 coolant MSDS sheet says it contains 40% Glycerol and 59% pure water. Assuming the same amount of impurities, this coolant should have a conductivity t...
Quoted from "J-MI" I configured my system following Speedy-VI's advice on Delta-T. It works great. Glad to hear everything worked out for you. I guess some people like using Delta-T and some people don't. I have seem some people come up with really complex combinations of sensors in the Playground. The beauty of Aquasuite is that you can, within reason, set things up however you want.
Quoted from "sebastian" Trying to control a water cooling system like a house makes little sense in my opinion. In other words, regulating to some kind of difference (water<->environment) or similar. Quoted from "Remayz" Cooling wise it doesn't change much. It's more of a noise thing. Having the fans blasting warm air in summer won't help anyway, so since water temp will vary anyway, might as well not get a noisy PC. I prefer using coolant-ambient Delta-T because where I live it gets HOT in the...
This is a strange problem. You have already done the obvious troubleshooting steps. You could try totally uninstalling and reinstalling Aquasuite. You could al.so try connecting the Quadro to another computer and see if the problem follows. Regarding a response from Aquacomputer, they usually don't respond on the weekends. They do have an Official Support sub-Reddit in the Vendors section of R/Watercooling. Sometimes I have had better luck getting a response from Aquacomputer there than on this ...
I have not had this happen to my D5 Next but have seen posts about this happening before. There are multiple moisture detection locations on the main circuit board (see pic #1). I recall reading that they are VERY sensitive so the slightest bit of moisture is enough to trip the alarm. In THIS THREAD OP was able to fix it by taking the pump apart and drying it out; I don't know if the Moisture Detected alarm will reset after doing this (OP did not say). Here is a LINK to a post from Shoggy (Aquac...
Hmmm. Not sure what you mean by the Octo "sensor output". Do you mean the Signal header? If yes, then no I don't think this will work. Cable #53294 is intended to connect the High Flow Next Signal output to the D5 Next Fan/Flow header. I explained the setup procedure to do this in THIS POST. Did that not work out for you? I don't think the Octo Signal header can output the signal that emulates High Flow #53068 which is the signal that the D5 Next can accept to get High Flow Next flow rate data i...
Quoted from "bart@hbvdh.nl" https://forum.aquacomputer.de/weitere-foren/english-forum/112710-octo-lost-names-for-pwm-ports-temp-sensors-and-soft-sensors/ That was my post. I never did figure out what caused my Octo to revert to default names that day, and it has not happened since. I don't know where the user defined custom names for Octo PWM ports, Soft Sensors, and the Octo device name are stored but think it may be in C:\ProgramData\aquasuite-data\.aquasuite_db.database because I see this fi...
You have to follow the procedure described in the manuals. You tell the High Flow Next in the Alarms section to generate high flow sensor #53068 signal (DP Ultra, Inner diameter >7mm) then in the D5 Next Sensors section, for Sensor 2, select Sensor type Aquacomputer high flow #53068, DP Ultra Coolant, and Fitting Type >7mm. High Flow sensor #53068 is not even sold anymore but that is not relevant to this setup. The High Flow Next has to generate this signal and the D5 next has to be set up to re...
In short - No. If you connect all of your Aquacomputer devices that have USB connections to your mobo via the mobo USB2.0 headers and/or a Hubby7 you do not need any of these cables. If you choose to activate the D5 Next Flow Rate alarm, depending on how well your D5 Next virtual flow sensor works, you may get false alarms like I did. The D5 Next virtual flow sensor attempts to calculate flow rate based on several parameters. Its not very accurate. The manual even says its really just for detect...
I think cable #53212 is for connecting the old High Flow sensor #53068 or the flow sensor with 5.6mm nozzle #53061 into an Octo, Quadro, Farbwerk360, or Vision. High Flow #53068 and flow sensor with 5.6mm nozzle #53061 are both discontinued products so I don't see any use for this cable in your set up. Cable #53294 can be used to connect the Signal header of the High Flow Next to the Fan/Flow header of the D5 Next. I have this cable installed which, after proper configuration in Aquasuite, sends...
Quoted from "spinelli" Quoted from "Speedy-VI" I asked why Aquasuite cannot send flow rate date from the High Flow Next to the D5 Next about a year ago on the Aquacomputer support subreddit under R/Watercooling. My D5 Next virtual flow sensor, even after calibration, was very inaccurate and did not work at all if flow rate was below 180 L/hr. If I enabled the D5 Next alarm, it would go off even when my flow rate was fine. Shoggy (Aquacomputer rep) told me that the D5 Next has very limited memor...
Quoted from "spinelli" Quoted from "Shoggy" 2.) You can not simply connect any devices to each other in general. The only device that is able to monitor/control other aquabus devices that feature an aquabus interface is the aquaero 5/6. Please note that the aquabus only offers a very limited feature set. It can not replace a USB connection. I thought you said you could connect the High Flow Next into the D5 Next (using cable 53294). May you please confirm if this is possible or not? It is possi...

If I enabled the D5 Next alarm, it would go off even when my flow rate was fine. Don't the Lion Li SL120 fans have 32 LEDs each? If yes, 3 of them would be 96 LEDs. An RGBpx port can drive 90 LEDs max. I don't know if this is what is causing your problems, but goin over 90 is a no-no. If plugging 2 fans in (64 LEDs) is causing the status light to blink, something else is going on.
The D5 Next, High Flow Next, and Leakshield all have a USB connection. If you plug them all into the Mobo they will show up in Aquasuite. This is the easiest and most common way to connect these devices. If your Mobo does not have enough USB2.0 headers, the Hubby7 is an excellent internal USB2.0 hub. The D5 Next does have a 4-pin connector that you can connect a fan to or use as a Flow Sensor input. To get the High Flow Next flow rata data into the D5 Next you need to get cable #53294 and plug t...
Quoted from "InfoSeeker" I believe any one of their products will do, the aquasuite test for an active license anywhere. I generally try to pick the device that would be most useful for a new build if my system cratered... i.e. octo over quadro, or if I have something on an external radiator. Quoted from "Bartdude" Ditto, I normally assign mine to the Aquaero 6 XT but as Infoseeker says it doesn't really matter. @Shoggy I'm pretty sure that if said part did fail then Aquacomputer would honour t...
Looks like I need to buy a new license key for both of my computers running Aquasuite. One of them only has an Octo installed. My main machine has a bunch of Aquacomputer products with update service expiration dates ranging from August 2021 to July 2024. After inputting the new license key, Aquasuite asks which device I would like to assign the new key to. Does it matter:? Is there any advantage to assigning the new key to the device with the oldest expiration date, or the newest expiration dat...
Thank makes perfect sense, thanks.
I don't see how the LEDs being arranged in a circle would make any difference in what the LEDs do, but I figured out that Circular does do something when the Width and Smoothness sliders are set to higher values. With Circular off, the pattern does not start over again until it has moved to the last LED and all LEDs turn off. With Circular on, the pattern starts again at LED 1 before the last iteration has completed. Now I am trying to figure out what Color Mode 2 does in the Laser preset. I'm j...
I am playing around with the Aquasuite RGBpx presets. I have the Wave effect set to Red with Background Color Black. With the Width and Smoothness sliders both set to 0 I get 1 Red LED that moves from left (connector end) to right on the LED strip (Aquacomputer #53268 15-LED Strip). When I turn the Circular option on nothing happens. The 1 Red LED continues to move from left to right on the LED strip and in the Preview in Aquasuite. What is Circular supposed to do? If it means the Wave will move...
Quoted from "sebastian" Try to disable the gpu from your CPU in the bios settings. Glad this worked for OP but I am confused. Do you mean go into the BIOS and disable the iGPU, in OP's case Intel UHD Graphics 770? When this happened to me after updating my NVidia RTX3080 drivers, I had no such option because my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5950X which does not have an iGPU. For CPUs that do have an iGPU, does Aquasuite get confused about which GPU to report?
I have had NVidia GPU sensors disappear from my Overview pages several times after a GPU driver update. I use HWINFO and Shared Memory to import all my sensor data and have all Aquasuite direct sensor polling disabled. The GPU sensor data will show up in HWINFO, but the data does not import into Aquasuite until I re-select them. It does not happen every time, has not happened in a while, and I never did figure out why it happens. I am about to update my RTX3080 to driver v561.09. If I lose the G...
I am not sure what you mean by "connected to the lower order" but your connection diagram shows that whichever thing is at the end of the daisy-chain blinks. Is that correct? When you say Blinks do you mean a steady blink at some rate or erratic flickering?
I am running Aquasuite X.79 and HWINFO v8.11-5526 beta (released today), and Shared Memory data is showing up in Aquasuite. I have not had any problems with the last few versions of HWINFO. There was a -5525 beta released earlier today with a bug that affected WHEA and Custom sensors. I did not install -5525 beta so I don't know if Shared Memory Support was also affected. Version 5526 beta was released about 13 hours later with the bug fixed. If you are running HWINFO v8.11-5525 beta that might ...
Glad to hear it worked out. Regarding updating the D5 Next, an Aquacomputer rep (Shoggy) told me that the D5 Next has very limited memory and they are already struggling to fit the firmware into it. Maybe at some point they will decide to update the controller board in the D5 Next and include a higher capacity flash chip. Unless and until they do that. I don't think there is any way around this limitation.
In THIS THREAD Aquacomputer said they have some ideas to improve how Overview pages work. If and when these enhancements will be implemented is unknown.
I am not aware of any way to do that, and I don't know if there is any reason that valve could not be left in the open position. When I want to drain my loop I just unscrew the Leakshield from the Ultitube then open my drain valve.
I think its OK if coolant touches the membrane but the Leakshield will not function properly until the membrane is dry. This is what Aquacomputer rep Shoggy said in a thread on their Reddit support site. A membrane protects the device from coolant but when this membrane becomes wet, LEAKSHIELD can not operate correctly until it is dry again. LINK TO POST
Quoted from "Numerlor" This is also something I thought would be available when buying into the ecosystem, having to rely on other paid software for hardware sensors that aren't exposed by the service is... frustrating Aquacomputer allows Aquasuite to export data but not import data, other than from HWINFO or AIDA64. Their reasons why are stated in this post in the German forum. LINK. Basically, they don't want to have the forum flooded with posts from people having MQTT problems and asking for...
Glad to hear you got it working. My understanding is that the display on the D5 Next (D5N) is intended to display information about the D5 Next, not other devices. There is a way to get the High Flow Next (HFN) flow rate data on the D5N display, but it requires a special cable and has to be set up in a specific way. You can get cable #53294 and connect the High Flow Next (HFN) Signal header to the D5N Fan/Flow header. The D5N has a "virtual flow sensor" that reports a flow rate that is a calcula...
You're welcome. Were you able to get the fans controlled by coolant temp? I would get that working before attempting to set up Delta-T. Making a virtual software sensor that is coolant temp minus ambient temp (Delta-T), then assigning that virtual sensor to one of the Quadro’s soft sensors, and then using that soft sensor to control fan speeds is a good way to start learning about the Aquasuite Playground and the concept of a virtual software sensor. These features provide a completely customiza...
