My aquaero I think has been damaged by a faulty USB header on my motherboard, I've tried to revive it on another PC without luck. Disconnected everything, the damn thing keeps rebooting and/or most of the time stays at the main screen. Is there any way to force a flash of the firmware as the aqua suite says the version of the OS is 0 for the unit. Ive also done the EEPROM reset without any luck. The unit is very old probably 2004/2005 when ever the v4 was first released.

I've had this unit for a while and a line has developed across the LCD, its been there for quite a long time. Reducing the contrast helps however its still clearly visible, should I dismantle the unit and check the contacts or will I need a new display? Ive also managed to fix a broken push button with success, again dismantled and cleaned the springs and contacts.
