I have an EK Fluid Gaming system I'd like to set up with a QUADRO, then base the radiator fan curves on water temps. You can't use a g1/4 type probe with a fluid gaming system because EK FG loops are aluminum based, and adding a non-alu component would lead to corrosion. However, I DO have an upright cylinder reservoir and a whole bunch of those skinny 70 cm probes lying around. Couldn't I just drill a hole in the cap and drop a sensor into the water? OK, another question: I now have a QUADRO in my system, and I have it connected alongside the Aquaero. I had to update a lot of firmware, but now everything seems to work, and it even gave me a free update to the latest version of Aquasuite. HOWEVER: I thought I would be able to use the QUADRO by aquabus connection to the aquaero WITHOUT USB. This doesn't seem to work. I can only operate the quadro if it is plugged into a USB 2.0 socket. And, while I DO have two USB 2.0 sockets on my MB, I need ...
Thanks! It's kind of a bother figuring what to do with the aquaero 5 lt - I've had it for years now, but somehow never really used it. It it's still sort of the odd man out. Sounds like a Splitty9 wouldn't quite do it for me - but couldn't some fans from the aquaero and the rest from a Quadro?
I recently rebuilt my water cooled system for ryzen. It has the following fans: - three 180mm PWM fans (ap183), - one 140mm PWM fan, - one 120mm fan My loop is being pushed by a aquastream xt, the fans are controlled by an aquaero 5 lt. However, the 5 lt only has one PWM fan header - and I really want to control all four fans in PWN mode in aquasuite. The difference in reliability is pretty big. Hiya! No, no fluid is visible, and I can't hear any particularly odd sounds - i.e., I can hear that the aquastream is running and vibrating slightly on its sandwich thing. If I unplug it from the PSU then re-plug it, it clearly stops running, then starts again. OTOH, if I pinch the tubing when I start the pump, I don't feel any pressure, as the water tries to get past the stoppage I'm causing. The water in my system has stopped circulating, and I'm trying to figure out where the problem is. I'm guess that EITHER there is some kind of blockage OR ELSE that my aquastream xt pump is malfunctioning. Moll, 0.7.1 beta brauche ich schon lange. Wie im englischsprachigen Thread erwähnt: Könnte es irgendwas damit zu tun haben, dass ich die allerletzte Version von w10 als Update installiert habe - d.h., nicht ab frisch formatierter Festplatte? Ich habe eine ganz vage (und empirisch unbegründete) Vermutung, dass die Installationsart eine Rolle spielen könnte - allerdings habe ich keine grosse Lust, den Versuch zu wagen, wenn ich nicht darum sicher bin!
Yup 0.7.1. beta is what I have. BTW, I was on the fast track w10 testing track and used several different builds. Some of them DID work just fine, some didn't. Unfortunately, the final build didn't. One other thing crosses my mind: Is it possible that clean installs are somehow better than upgrade installs??
Just for the record, I'm the guy that started the thread in the German part of the forum - and I haven't been able to solve my problem yet either. For the time being I havce fan speeds linked to water temperature, but it's not a hack I want to keep using much longer.
Hier kurz zu erwähnen: Auf meinem Gerät sieht aquasuite die externen Daten in Windows 10 immer noch nicht. Ich habe die gelinkten Versionen von VCREDIST installiert, es hat sich aber nichts daran geändert. Z.Z. werden meine Controllers per Wassertemperatur gesteuert, aber die Lösung gefällt mir nicht besonders, und ich wäre sehr froh wenn die Software Sensors bald wieder gehen!
Just wondering: Any chance of keeping the original block and making a connector that would let you plug the Fury X into an existing custom loop?

Hallo! Ich bin gerade dran Windows 10 auszuprobieren - und habe ein Problem gefunden: Open Hard Monitor läuft ganz ordentlich - zeigt Temperaturen, etc. ganz gut an. Wenn man aber unter "Software Temperatursensoren" auf "Datenquelle" geht, steht "no external data sources available." P.S. Das Gleiche gilt auch bei AIDA64, den ich gerade in Trailversion installiert habe.
Aaargh. War trotzdem für nichts. Heute hat es wieder angefangen.

Die aquasuite 2014 hast du aber schon installiert? OK - Dafür brauchte ich etwas Zeit - sehr viele Molexanschlüsse für den PSU hat man heutzutage nicht! Auf jeden Fall: Seit gestern ist der Aquastream an einem ganz eigenen Rail angehängt und scheint tatsächlich keine Schwierigkeiten mehr zu haben.

Shoot. Ich habe das System ganz neu aufgestellt und auf Windows 8.1 updated - aber das Problem mit dem Aquastream bleibt weiterhin - wenn schon ist er noch unberechenbarer geworden. Die Pumpe läuft problemlos, aber die USB-Verbindung ist nicht in Ordnung. Manchmal geht er, manchmal nicht. Manchmal kommt er nach einem Neuboot, manchmal nicht. Irgendwelche Ideen?? P.S. Und manchmal läuft er dann plötzlich doch wieder an. Z.B. als ich diese Nachricht geschrieben habe, hat ich gerade frisch gebootet...
Danke für den Hinweis - aber leider ist auch der Bios ganz uptodate. - Ich stelle fest, dass ASUS-MBs offenbar ein etwas schwieriges Kapitel sind. Ob evtl. ein allgemeines Problem ist? - Allerdings: Im Lauf der WaKü-Installation hat ein defektes CCL-Licht so Einiges an Schaden verursacht - am Aquastream brannte ein Widerstand durch und ich musste die Platine auswechseln. Jetzt frage ich mich, ob allenfalls was am MB oder an meiner Windows-Installation beschädigt wurde. Ich stelle seit gestern Ab...
Mit meinem allerersten WaKü-System bin ich top glücklich! Allerdings habe ich ein Problem: Wenn ich den PC in Schlafmodus versetze - sowohl "sleep" wie auch "hibernate" - funktioniert beim Aufwachen nicht mehr die USB-Verbindung zwischen dem aqustream XT Ultra. Im aquasuite kriegt die Spalte "aquastream xt" einen roten "x" und manchmal gibt Windows 7 (x64, up-to-date) auch eine Fehlermeldung. Ein Neuboot bringt alles wieder zum Laufen - aber als langfristige Lösung bin ich damit natürlich nicht ...
