Did you even read the post... You're just telling me to to exactly what I've already done. Exactly what detail would you like me to add? It's about as detailed as it could possibly be relating to the issue, what I've done to try fix it and how nothing has worked.

Hi, I just updated from X.19 to X.20 which forced me to update my D5NEXT's firmware to 1016 and my OCTO's firmware to 1008. Immediately after I restarted the PC my fans were running at 100% and all of the RGBpx strips reset back to the horrid initial showcase profile with all the colours running in different ways for the OCTO but the D5 is just fine.
