hi there , yeah its both windows and the aquasuit, do these things ever get sold defective?

my computer says it does not recognize this device, im certain the cables are all in properly , i also watched a video about it, the usb header works and i have the flow meter running but recently bought the aquaero 6 but cant seem to get it to read.
