Any ideas on this before I order the display.
I want to replace the LCD in my aero with the OLED version however forums suggest that I will need new buttons, spacers and nuts as the display is thinner. What exactly do I need?
I like the Apple keyboard and its been in use through several PC's without issue, I'll try another keyboard allthough the aquaero wasnt freezing on my Abit KR7 and IC7 motherboards. Running 1009 BIOS.
System is an ASUS A8N32, whenever the aquaero is connected to the internal USB headers my Apple keyboard freezes at the Windows XP logon screen with the CAPSLOCK light on. This also happens at the XP install after after loading the raid drivers, running at default BIOS setting on the motherboard.
the operating pressure is irrelavant, people are allready using these in WC applications with very accurate flow readings. The only limitations of the device again is irrelavant for watercooling: 1) The liquid has to be clear-->translucant. 2) Impulses/Litre value is as it stands a problem for the aquaero. 3) Maximum 20 Litres/min flowrate @ 40 bars. A guy called Nexxo (wizdforums.co.uk) has obtained some of these however they are now ALL SOLD, the demand is allready high enough that swissflow ...
OK, I'll be recieving the flowmeter some time this week, will let you guys know how it looks.
OK ive exported the data but there is no option to read xml in JALCD. I tried the read lind but it gave me errors.
Is there a way to display everything the aquaero does during NON-USB mode together with any JaLCD information. All my RPM's/Temperture sensores/flowmeter etc... are connected to the aquaero, when I launch JaLCD that information isnt displayed.
How do I get a higher value setup than 2500 as I'll be using a high flow optimised flow meter.
The aquasuite only allows a maximum of 2500 but I want to change it to 6000 as I'll be using a difference flow sensor thats optimised for a high-flow WC system.
As I remember these were available in limited quantities, how can I obtain one?
Is it possible to connect two aquaeros in the same PC, I allready have an LCD version but wanted to add the LT to control more fans.
No its a 1/4 NPT thread on a BIX III.
What is the purpose of this since it doesnt power the display when the PC is turned off.
I am using 1/4 NPT on my rad and it doesnt leak, its sealed using pure sillicone adhesive sealant (no way it will leak, the tubing will burst well before the thread leaks).
he's talking about BTU's, also the energy dissipated at certain airflow. HWLabs include this information for the radiators.
just to clarify, 1/4 NPT IS NOT 9/16". Dangerden is currently moving to 9/16-18 (aka UNF, fine thread). UNF is parrallel while NPT is tapered.
Thats fine, ive found another solution. I'll be using the aquaero to control a rheobus which in turn will adjust the speed of 3 X Panaflo 120mm high speed fan together. I have 25W to play with while only using a total of 18W.
Hi can we at least have an ETA, these were suppose to be released beggining of the year, its september and we have nothing from AC. The AC products are great but having to wait several months makes the user look somewhere else and lets the competition catch up. Waiting a few months is fine but its gone too far guys... october next week! Even a rough date will be fine or a progress update on how far along these products are.
I cant remember the exact name but any idea on a time frame for this 1 month, 3 months? As it stands I need to control upto 7 of these fans, 3 of which are connected to the radiator. I will in the mean time connect these 3 fan on 5v/7v until aqua computer release the expansion kit.
Add an extra aquaero LT? and connect it with the appropriate cable? Its possible to connect multiple aquastreams right?
Ive currently obtained several panaflo 120mm High speed fans with a 5.5W power rating, Iam assuming 10W is the maximum per channel for the aquaero. How do I add more channels to to it, the manual mentions an extra expansion addon but Ive not seen it anywhere.
Choice between Highend Alluminium cases COOLERMASTER VS SILVERSTONE? ATC 4000 or the TJ03? Case will house a watercooled system, comments please.
I assume the aqua computer flow meter gives a fan style rpm output suitable for connection to a motherboard? This was available before the aqua aero wasnt it?
As we now have GDR 3 on the latest cards, the memory chips run very cool and need little if any cooling so IMO x800 cards dont need cooling on the memory regardless of what people think. For the 9800 it may benefit from extra cooling but is it really worth the effort of water cooling the RAM chips on the other side? Just use RAM sink i.e. big ones as you have the space on the back side of the card.
I onlt see this usefull in motherboard without thermal shutdown. The latest abit mb's have the ability to shut down on any health parameter being fan speed, voltage or temperature.
Can you combine the TCS with the aquaero, they use the same method when cutting out the PSU I assume. How does this TCS work, where does it go etc...
No I dont want to run TECS 24/7, I just want to have a backup pump allways there just in case the other one fails, it just feels safer especially when there are TECS involved.
OK good ideas, the row approach sounds good. I think 2 pumps for say a performance machine (net, gaming etc..) is overkill but fot a 24/7 workstation definetly need 2 pumps. Then again using a water cooling setup with TECS I think you need that extra pump just in case, the last thing you need is an overheating TEC. Also how much heat can the airplex 320 dissipate as it was shown it was the highest performing 3x120mm radiator to date.
ok so what if the impleler freezes up, liquid cant get through. I think the Y fittings should be OK until a pump fails. Also the addition of valves should help with the direction of the flow, i.e. you can shut-off the path with the failed pump. Unless someone has actually done something like this then its all thoery for now. I should add that I will be cooling TECS, an 80W and a 223W and maybe when SLI comes along there will be another 80W, allthough I will need a big radiator to dissipate th...
For my watercooling setup iam going to be using 2 eheim pumps in parallel to provide redundancy if one of the pumps fails the other will continue working until its fixed or replaced. Anyway I would like the performance of the 1250 pump (1200l/h), if I use 2x 1048 pumps (600l/h each) will I at least achieve similar perfromance to the 1250? Assuming the use of Y fittings (9/10mm ID tubing) on both inlet and outlets. Noise and power isnt an issue since the pumps will be dampned and noise issolated,...
The eheim 1250 threads are "3/4" and "1/2" but the aqua website lists them as "3/8" and "1/2". Will someone correct the error? Kleo
Thats what I thought aswell, unless of coarse you equip the 1800 with fans. 120mm and larger!
Iam assuming that the 1800 doesnt need any fans, i mean 15 fans (120mm) is rediculus. What kind of performance does it give when used as a passive radiator vs the 360 (using fans). Most 360 radiators iam told can dissipate anything between 200W-600W, how much heat can the 1800 dissipate (passively cooled). Kleo
It doesnt matter if it does, the PCi slot next to the AGP card I never use anyway due to IRQ sharing with the AGP.
Excellent! What type and size threads do these have?
The system will feature complete cooling with TECs aswell. CPU, GPU (possiblity of SLI when it appears), chipset, hard drives (3+) and PSU.
Hi, will there be a water block for the fx 6800 card something that cools the GPU and the RAM. Like the one aqua computer has for the 5900 i.e. aquagraFX Komplettkühler 5900/5950/Ultra. Kleo
Hi, iam looking for the thread type and size for the following: Airplex evo 360 Aquadrive Micro HD Aqua tube reserviour Eheim 1250 pump Kleo
I think the best way would be to use a drive plate, cut and shaped to fit over the aquadrive front. I was also thinking of putting an LCD in front of it.
OK maybe a black anodised aluminium plate replacing the silver one on the aquadrive? I could do it with a coolermaster 5/1/4 plate then screw it on to the front of the drive. AHH what about the aqua drive logo and " made in germany" how can I add that?
can you use fans using the external mounting? they should design a sort of casing for the airplex evo 320 together when using all the 120mm fans.
Very good, exactly how I want to do mine, though I think there should be some fans? Passive cooling for h/w like Opteron + Geforce + SCSI drives would need fans for good temperatures or would it be OK.
OK, I was thinking what about black aquadrives, maybe anodised steel/aluminium. Iam talking about the front part of the 5/1/4 face.
Has the auqa drive colour changed? it now looks like champagne/beige than silver?
Did you use UV paint to make the PCI/AGP cards glow. WHich paint did you use make/brand etc...
I figured out that the power needed to be dissipated would be around maximum 250-300W assumming DUAL CPUS (Available Opterons at end of year) , 50-70W graphics card (geforce 5 ultra ) , chipset, 4 SCSI drives. The 320 radiator should be fine or I can combine more of them 2 maybe.
this is for a machine i dont have yet, probably near christmass time. Case will be supermicro 4u still deciding but it will have 90mm + 120mm fans so airflow will be very good will minimal noise. I wasnt asking questions about other manufacturers. The other cooler cools from bellow where the motor and drive electronic/pcb are. You are saying that cooling from the side will be better. I will be using 10k rpm, the 15k are much more noiser, pricier and have lower capacity. The material used in the ...
