Re: Impulse's per litre value max 2500?

the operating pressure is irrelavant, people are allready using these in WC applications with very accurate flow readings.  The only limitations of the device again is irrelavant for watercooling: 1) The liquid has to be clear-->translucant. 2) Impulses/Litre value is as it stands a problem for the aquaero. 3) Maximum 20 Litres/min flowrate @ 40 bars. A guy called Nexxo (wizdforums.co.uk) has obtained some of these however they are now ALL SOLD, the demand is allready high enough that swissflow ...

The AC products are great but having to wait several months makes the user look somewhere else and lets the competition catch up. Waiting a few months is fine but its gone too far guys... october next week! Even a rough date will be fine or a progress update on how far along these products are.

Re: Opposite End Cooling with the AquagrATIx?

As we now have GDR 3 on the latest cards, the memory chips run very cool and need little if any cooling so IMO x800 cards dont need cooling on the memory regardless of what people think.  For the 9800 it may benefit from extra cooling but is it really worth the effort of water cooling the RAM chips on the other side? Just use RAM sink i.e. big ones as you have the space on the back side of the card.

Re: Redundant pumps and flow rate using Y fittings

No I dont want to run TECS 24/7, I just want to have a backup pump allways there just in case the other one fails, it just feels safer especially when there are TECS involved.

Re: Redundant pumps and flow rate using Y fittings

OK good ideas, the row approach sounds good.  I think 2 pumps for say a performance machine (net, gaming etc..) is overkill but fot a 24/7 workstation definetly need 2 pumps. Then again using a water cooling setup with TECS I think you need that extra pump just in case, the last thing you need is an overheating TEC. Also how much heat can the airplex 320 dissipate as it was shown it was the highest performing 3x120mm radiator to date.

Re: Redundant pumps and flow rate using Y fittings

ok so what if the impleler freezes up, liquid cant get through.  I think the Y fittings should be OK until a pump fails.  Also the addition of valves should help with the direction of the flow, i.e. you can shut-off the path with the failed pump.  Unless someone has actually done something like this then its all thoery for now. I should add that I will be cooling TECS, an 80W and a 223W and maybe when SLI comes along there will be another 80W, allthough I will need a big radiator to dissipate th...

Redundant pumps and flow rate using Y fittings.

For my watercooling setup iam going to be using 2 eheim pumps in parallel to provide redundancy if one of the pumps fails the other will continue working until its fixed or replaced. Anyway I would like the performance of the 1250 pump (1200l/h), if I use 2x 1048 pumps (600l/h each) will I at least achieve similar perfromance to the 1250? Assuming the use of Y fittings (9/10mm ID tubing) on both inlet and outlets. Noise and power isnt an issue since the pumps will be dampned and noise issolated,...

Airplex EVO 1800 VS EVO 360 (heat dissipation)

Iam assuming that the 1800 doesnt need any fans, i mean 15 fans (120mm) is rediculus. What kind of performance does it give when used as a passive radiator vs the 360 (using fans). Most 360 radiators iam told can dissipate anything between 200W-600W, how much heat can the 1800 dissipate (passively cooled). Kleo
