One Suggestion to Aquaero Development Team (Initial 100% power output fan controllers in Aquaero)

Sonntag, 11. Oktober 2009, 04:52

Hallo.

I understand that, for reasons like to start fans or pumps, the fan outputs in Aquaero, make a 100% power startup booting during certain seconsd (around 20s).

Can you put the config of this "startup 100% power output" variable or disabled, in the list of possibles addendums in your future Firms??? (if it is possible via firm or soft, obviusly)

Thanks a lot.

The reason they did that was to make sure the fans actually start. Some 1200 rpm fans will start at say 600 rpm, but will actually spin down as low as 400 rpm. It was designed as a fail-safe in case you specified a fan speed that wouldn't actually start the fans. Thus you save your computer from overheating.

Thanks for explanation... the reason I suppose in the message... but, admiting the utility and the plus of security of this measure, maybe some users (I, for example) have some very noisy fans, that make this service when needed, but not in the startup.

Even if the fans are some lazy in lowers power output levels, we can put in Aquaero a mininum power output that solves this problems ;) (and solves and make more stable regulations too)

Thanks again

I understand your pain with the noisy fans as my GPU circuit has three 2,000 rpm fans that sound like a vacuum cleaner when they start up. I suggest that you PM Sebastian or Shoggy about this. :)
