D5 NEXT VISION LCD stopped working

I just installed a D5 NEXT in my pc. The pump is working and the LCD and leds were working but then stopped. I have tried reverting to factory settings in aquasuite but it has not worked. The pump still works.

I managed to get the leds to work again by pushing the control unit tight to the pump body. But then the leds stopped working again and refuse to work even when I try to push the control until tight to the pump body again. It seems to be a faulty connection in the control unit perhaps? What should I do?
