Vision Touch - sit-stand desk causing interference?

Mittwoch, 18. März 2026, 13:32

Hi folks,
Bit of an odd one here - have just picked up a Vision Touch, the base model with the external USB connection, to more easily view Ampinel power data without bending down to look in the case.

This works fine out of the box, and I'm able to set it up how I like it, etc, all the base functions are working fine.

However - I'm having a very odd issue, in that whenever I raise or lower my sit-stand desk, the Vision unit starts completely freaking out and frantically scrolling between the display pages backwards and forwards, while also not responding to actual button press inputs. This only occurs during the period the motor is running and stops immediately once the desk reaches its new level.

The desk in question is a self-built custom top, using a Desky dual-motor frame. The control unit for the desk is wired-in, not wireless, and the Vision unit itself is sitting on a cushioned surface (X-Raypad Aqua Control II) so it seems unlikely that vibrations are travelling through with sufficient strength to trigger phantom keypresses.

Any ideas? Not a dealbreaker by any means, but rather odd!
