Thank you for your reply and suggestions. I have already tried steps 1-4.This is a strange problem. I think your troubleshooting was thorough and logical. The problem does seem to the be High Flow Next (HFN). Hopefully someone from Aquacomputer will respond. In the meantime, here are a few suggestions.
If you get it working, please report back what you found. It may help someone else.
- Do a full power down and reboot. Its possible that the USB device stack is messed up. A reboot will re-initialize everything.
- Open Device Manager and check if any USB device is showing an error.
- Try disconnecting the working HFN and connect the problem HFN to the same USB port.
- Disconnect other USB devices. Some other device may be causing a problem and the HFN issue is a symptom.
- If your mobo has USB3 ports (USB3.0, 3.1, 3.2-Gen1, Gen-2 - whatever), try plugging it into one of those ports. They are probably controlled by another USB controller chip. You may need a USB2.0 5-pin female to USB Type A male connector to do this. You can buy this cable on AMAZON.
- Download USB Device Tree Viewer. Its a free utility that will show a detailed tree of all USB Host Controllers, USB Hubs, and USB Devices. It also shows detailed information about every device. If a USB device is not enumerating or has a problem, it will flag it.
- Download and run Nirsoft's USBDeviewutility. Its also free and displays a list of every connected USB device and a bunch of info about them. Compare what it shows for the working HFN versus the problem HFN. It may help you to narrow down the problem.
Good Luck!

Thanks for posting this. X.95 insider release updated Aquasuite to .NET 10, X89 updated to their new signed driver. Almost every update includes Hardware Monitoring, and sometimes also "Overall Stability". Things have changed under the hood, so its possible that Aquasuite is now more sensitive to changing the USB Ports Aquacomputer devices are plugged into. Good to know that totally removing the device from Aquasuite and reconnecting it fixes it.I've had multiple Aqua Computer products for many years and have switched things around without issues. This time, the software glitched and it did so qhuite weirdly. Good to know and the solution is simple, once you know it.
