top - in, bottom - out? - XT cooler

does it matter which is the in and which is the out configeration for the xt 939 cpu cooler?

Yes, that matters.



On this picture the bottom is the inlet.

yes it does matter, the inlet is the one that lead directly to the jets.

i presume that it is the same for the 939 version - the ac logo bottom right --> = bottom is the inlet?

You can't use the logo etc. for the direction beause you can exchange them :D It also doesn't matter which version you are using, the cooler itself is always the same.
