I do not have an aquastream pump, I have the D% with USB & aquabus, but there may be similarities between them on the aquasuite side.
1. Should I use the Aquabus connection to my Pump or should I use USB or both? I am currently using the aquabus and it is working but in Aquasuite RPM is pegged at 5220.0 and flow rate only changes by maybe .3 of a GPH as measured by my Aqua Computer flow meter.
I have a curve controller set up for the pump as the % shown there changes with CPU temp
I have both the USB and aquabus connected... they are not mutually exclusive. The USB connection allows you to set parameters for the pump (i.e. bus address or updating firmware), while the aquabus interfaces with aquasuite to control & monitor the pump (curve controller, etc.).
I believe you set how the pump is controlled from the USB control panel, by selecting Automatic speed, Manual preset or Set by controller. Also, if there is an option as to which bus (USB or aquabus) has priority, select aquabus,
2. Under Pumps should the AquaStream XT be set my controller or automatic speed (again the numbers here for percentage so change with cpu temp)
If you want the pump controlled by the controller, I believe you should have Set by controller selected.
Is there a way to adjust polling rate right now my fans spin up fast but drop back down I would like a more gradual ramp up for fan speed out of my curve controller
Check under Fans>Advanced settings and see if the Use start boost option is checked. Start boost is what it sounds like... the motor may not start at the lowest setting, but once rolling it will run at the lowest setting.
