Running LED strip from aquaero 6 2-pin PWM terminals

I understand the 2-pin PWM ports on the aquaero 6 may be used for LED lighting, as long as the current load does not exceed 1amp.
Does anyone have experience with the DarkSide Dimmable 12" Modular LED Strip on the aquaero 6, 2-pin PWM terminals? Do they respond to the dimmable function?

Yeah I have a couple of the white ones and they work great with a nice range of brightness.

they also can only be a single led color 2 pin
