Flow Sensor on quadro

Samstag, 9. März 2019, 01:55

Ugh, just received my new (to me) quadro, and the farbwerk 360 is released... grrr.

Anyway I have a question regarding the quadro.
When I add my High Flow USB flow sensor it appears to display the raw data, I think.
I am not sure how to correlate the result to the actual flow.

I thought, maybe I need to go direct to the Flow Sensor's tab, and not the flow sensor in the aquaero's sensors tab.
But nope, same result.

That is the actual flow as you don't have to calibrate a high flow sensor.

But I don't understand what 2087 or 2092 means.
How do I correlate those numbers to the actual flow rate in l/m or l/h?
I think I need a curve or formula to convert those values.

That is the actual flow as you don't have to calibrate a high flow sensor.

but be careful:
l/min means Litre per Minute! if you want to have it in Litre per Hour: you can change it in Aquasuite configuration.
3.5l/min means 3.5l/min x 60min/h = 220l/h! and that isn't soooo bad Really 8)

Appreciate your thoughts, but I believe you misunderstood my comment.

I AM pleased with the flow rate of 3.5 l/m, but I am not sure how to use the values passed to the quadro, in that they do not correlate in a relationship I can easily determine by looking at it.
I suppose I could divide 2090 by 3.5 to get an assumed equivalent of 597 units being equal to 1 l/m, and then assuming 0 to equal 0, and the curve to be linear, develop the table below.
But I believe the issue is that the quadro is importing the wrong value from the flow sensor.

raw - l/m
0 - 0.0
60 - 0.1
119 - 0.2
179 - 0.3
239 - 0.4
299 - 0.5
358 - 0.6
418 - 0.7
478 - 0.8
537 - 0.9
597 - 1.0
657 - 1.1
717 - 1.2
776 - 1.3
836 - 1.4
896 - 1.5
955 - 1.6
1015 - 1.7
1075 - 1.8
1135 - 1.9
1194 - 2.0
1254 - 2.1
1314 - 2.2
1373 - 2.3
1433 - 2.4
1493 - 2.5
1553 - 2.6
1612 - 2.7
1672 - 2.8
1732 - 2.9
1791 - 3.0
1851 - 3.1
1911 - 3.2
1971 - 3.3
2030 - 3.4
2090 - 3.5
2150 - 3.6
2209 - 3.7

2329 - 3.9
2389 - 4.0
2448 - 4.1
2508 - 4.2
2568 - 4.3
2627 - 4.4
2687 - 4.5
2747 - 4.6
2807 - 4.7
2866 - 4.8
2926 - 4.9
2986 - 5.0

Thought I would try one last thing... since HWiNFO reads the aquaero, I tried to use HWiNFO as the source.
Unfortunately, HWiNFO only gets the internal temperature of the High Flow USB sensor, no flow rate shown.
Perhaps the issue is that I am using the High Flow USB sensor with the MPS electronics, and there is an anomaly in communicating with it.
