Ultitube D5 can it be mounted horizontal?

Good evening,

I have the Ultitube with two lids the sealed lid and the vented membrane lid. I want to know if it can be mounted horizontal (sideways) as i have the 120mm fan bracket. Can this be done and if so does it require the multiport top lid in order for it to work.
