But what happens with the aquastream when it sucks air ? Will it suck the reservoir "vacum?" so that the water further in the chain will go to the pump or can't the quastream suck water?

The AS has to be filled with water to work. It's based on an Eheim 1046 pump, which doesn't suck on the water by itself. However, if it is filled with water and connected to your resevoir, it will work just fine and fill your system.

Don't forget to pour extra water in your reservoir if it runs low on it.
