Festplatten löschen!

Hallo!

Ich möchte meinen alten PC verkaufen, damit ich mir endlich eine AC Wakü leisten kann ;D.
Dazu muss ich jetzt die Festplatte von all meinen Daten befreien und zwar so das man sie nicht einfach wieder herstellen kann.

Irgendwelche Tipps wie ich des am besten machen könnte?

im paket stehen noch sehr interessante details zum überschreiben von festplatten.

läuft unter linux. sollte aber ja kein ding sein, das kriegste auch mit ner live-cd ans laufen.
