It has taken a long time but finally it is here: the poweradjust 2

The poweradjust 2 is a controller which was optimized for the use with a Laing DDC pump but you can also use it for other things with a constant load of up to 25W at 12V. The maximum surge current can go up to 48W so you have enough reserves for the massive starting current that some pumps or fans generate. A freely configurable startboost allows you to make sure that for example a pump has enough time to spin-up before it is getting slowed down by the controller. That feature also works if the speed or flow rate signal gets interrupted.

Besides the already known connections like power output, its speed signal, USB, flow rate sensor and speed signal output this variant offers some new connections: an external temperature sensor can be connected and allows to monitor temperatures in the range of -40°C to +100°C. Two aquabus connections will allow full interaction with other upcoming devices in the future. You can be sure that the soft- and firmware will get some updates by time.

Instead of using manual control settings the ultra variant of the poweradjust 2 also offers a temperature-dependent control. It is designed very similar to the fan controller of the aquastream XT and allows a very detailed control over the power output. If you don't need that feature you can grab the standard variant of the poweradjust 2 which offers all functions of the ultra variant with the exception of the temperature-dependent control.

As you can already see on the photos the size of the passive cooling block is much bigger now to dissipate the heat which is generated by the voltage regulator. A two-stage overload protection will guard your poweradjust 2 against possible damages if the voltage regulator is getting too hot. Additional alarm settings for the temperature, flow rate and speed signal will give you full control.

The ultra variant will cost 39.90 EUR while the standard variant costs 34.90 EUR. With an upgrade key you can turn a standard controller into an ultra variant at any time.

A 5.25" bay cover for up to three poweradjust 2 will be available for 14.90 EUR.
