Water block for HD 5830

I am interested in the aquagratiX for HD 5870 and HD 5850 (RV870) G1/4 but I have a 5830.



Will the block work on a 5830? If it does, could I get some suggestions for a liquid cooling setup? Pump, radiator... : )



My case is a Cooler Master ATCS 840

(I will be doing a crossfire setup in the future)

Have you had a look on the photos with the reference layout of both blocks?

Telling from some photos in the web it seems that your card is using the same PCB but it is hard to tell.

I can't seem to find a naked HD 5830, but from the reference photos of the 5850 and 5870 they look to have the same layout (besides a few caps and other stuff)



I'll settle with the stock cooler until I can get a good photo comparison of the 5830 and 5850, 70 or someone with success with a block on the 5830.

If you already have the card, have a look at the PCIe pins. Above them you will find an imprint with the PCB number. Just write it down.
