I for some reason cannot add a new comment to the existing ampinel thread. It keeps logging me out and saying I don't have permission. I'm wondering if at some point we'll get the ability to use HWinfo64 to monitor the information. From what I have seen with the other product of this type, HWinfo64 is willing to work with companies.

I wanted to say that I received my Ampinel yesterday only 3 days to Wisconsin for shipping from Germany is crazy via DHL.

The device feels very well built and solid, with no sense of flimsiness. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I particularly appreciated the notice included at the top of the packaging advising users to ensure the device does not touch the video card, which is a thoughtful safety reminder.


Installing the device required a bit of effort at first, but once the connectors were fully seated and the audible clicks from both power connectors were heard, the fit felt secure and reliable. From what I can tell, the connection is solid.

The instructions also clearly explain how to connect the USB header to the motherboard. The device functioned immediately after installation with HWinfo, without the need to install the custom software, which was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, the installation process was straightforward and the build quality appears excellent.


Guessing the only way to know if there is a firmware update is to check for it using the custom software. I didn't see any specific URLs to check manually for a new update as an example. Just have to run the software monthly or so and check for new Firmware.

Anyone know of additional details on using the Ampinel? I have it all setup, working great. Questions I have.

1. After installing the software and running the balance load detector. Do you have to leave the service running and the Aquasuite software? Or, can the service be stopped and the Aquasuite be exited and it still perform the balancing?
2. How does the Alarm work? Do you need the service and software running for the Alarm to work or if you set it all in the software to how you want, it'll use those settings even without the service running and software?
