Hi,
I am planning to do the finishing stages on my case modification in a few weeks. I purchased the aquastream XT ultra and the (53068) flow sensor block. I read the manual dated November 2011, firmware version 1017, in the section using the connector port, it states not to have the aquabus connected if in flow sensor mode. But by default the unit is in aquabus mode out of the box. Will the unit be damaged first time if the flow sensor block is attached? I plan to do full control by the software. I have dual boot and Vista should handle the software if windows 8.1 does not.

Best you change the setting first and then plug it in.
The other way around is deadly (flow->aquabus), aquabus->flow should´t do anything, but safe is safe.
