Aquero Problem + Cuplex Evo fitting question

Hi folks, this is my first post 
Unfortunately it's to get some advice about my very tempramental Aquero. I have just installed it in my brand new system - I'll post some pictures in time.
The AqueroUSB software sometimes detects the Aquero and sometimes doesn't. Is this a known issue with and Asus A8N mother board.
I might try upgrading the firmware - has anybody done this yet? It look like a complicated process for me. Unplugging the sensors etc. means dismatling half the front of my PC
ANy help would be greatly appreciated. I could also do with a manual of some sort for JALCD - I have a VFD Aquero, does JALCD work with that? If it does how do you use it, I have been singularly unsuccessful so far :'(

Hi and welcome to the forum
There have been several problems with Asus boards...
I highly recommend to flash the new OS and firmware. Then you can use the brandnew Aquasuite and believe me when I say it's awesome
It should also fix the problem with your mainboard.
Here you will find a (unofficial) translation for the updating procedure.
A lot of people have done it
jalcds also works with the vfd version. You have to start the programm via the start-menu or via a shortcut that contains a parameter: "D:\Programme\jalcds\jaLCDs.exe output=aquaeroLCD.jaLCD"
You should check if the file aquaeroLCD.dll exists within your windows\system32 folder.
Did you try to load the example.cfg? That config should work.
