Prop mit mozilla Thunderbird

Hi...

Ich hab meinen E-Mail account bei 1 und 1... aber ich bekomm im thunderbird meinen smtp server ned richtig konfiguriert...

welche sicherheitsautorisationsklamotten muss ich denn da anschalten?

probiers mit username+passwort bzw. "gleiche einstellung wie pop3-server" (keine ahnung wie das bei thunderbird genau heißt, hab das prog hier aufm rechner net

)

bei einem Linux Email-Progi hatte ich letztens das Problem, dass es bei den Benutzerdaten keine Umlaute akzeptierte.
Ich nehme aber nicht an, dass Dein Problem auch damit zu tun hat...

aber mit meinem Opera E-Mail hab ich das selbe Prop...

beide geben die Fehlermeldung raus das mein smtp ned richtig konfiguriert sei...

wie hast du denn deinen 1&1-account konfiguriert? bei vielen kann man das auch noch einstellen (z.b stmp-authentikikation smtp-authentifikation).

so, hier hab ich thunderbird.. und die einstellung is wirklich net schwer zu finden

extras -> konten -> SMTP (ganz unten) -> "Benutzername und Passwort verwenden" -> Benutzername eingeben (PW fragt er erst ab wenn du ne mail sendest)
