Gib nach dem Booten mal 'dmesg | grep hdb' ein und lass den Output sehen.

Bist du 100% sicher, dass die Platte richtig angeschlossen, gejumpert und im BIOS richtig erkannt ist? Sind vielleicht beide Platten am ersten IDE-Port auf Master?
