Kann es sein, dass diese E-Mail-Versand-Verweigerung in Thunderbird mit den Ports zusammenhängt?

Eingestellt ist momentan 25. Ist das korrekt?

Hast du den den Server Settings des Accounts unter "Security and Authentication" ein Häkchen gemacht und deinen Usernamen dort eingetragen? Benutzt du TLS oder SSL? Da könnte der Port ein anderer sein. Ich hab es momentan auf 'TLS, if available' stehen - möglicherweise benutzt er dann aber keine Verschlüsselung.

Ja ich hab dort ein Häkchen gesetzt und meinen Benutzernamen eingetragen. Weitern hab ich aber Never/Nie ausgewählt, statt TLS, falls verfügbar.

ich hab smtp.web.de mit port 587 und "sichere verbindung verwenden: nie".

alle 10 minuten mails checken funktioniert damit einwandfrei.

SMTP ist nicht fürs checken, sondern fürs schicken :) Aber ich werd den Port ma probieren.

ist mir schon klar, dass der smtp-server fürs mails senden zuständig ist. ich wollte damit nur sagen, dass ich vor dem mails abrufen keine mails verschicken muss bzw. anders rum.
thunderbird läuft bei mir 24/7 und ruft die mails im 10-minuten-rhytmus ab.

probier's halt aus. :)

Auf Arbeit nutze ich IMAP mit 1&1. Dort muss ich keine Mails abholen, wenn ich welche verschicken will.

Sag mal, du hast nicht *zufällig* mal in die Hilfe von web.de bzgl. Ports, Verschlüsselung, Versand usw. geschaut und die Einstellungen deines (edit: Accounts) im Web-Portal überprüft?
