Hi leute,

ich möchte in das bootmenü von windows xp prof. Windows Vista home dazufügen. Bzw. hab das schon gemacht, auch brav angegeben mit festplattennr und so (weil vista auf einer anderen hdd ist)

So wenn ich dann aber Vista booten will kommt immer, die meldung:

Windows could not start because of a Computerdisk hardware konfiguration problem.

weiß nicht was falsch ist hab ich evtl noch was falsch in der boot.ini ?

Das was du vorhast ist nicht möglich.

Du kannst nur XP in das Vista Boot Menü Integrieren, nicht aber anderes herum.

na prima, habt ihr ein programm mit dem ich das einfach ändern kann?

Bzw. muss ich xp boot menü dazu vorher deaktivieren?

-Windows XP Booten
-Vista Installation's DVD einlegen
-Start
-Ausführen
-cmd
-Befehl eingeben: DVD-Rom:\boot\bootsect.exe -NT60 ALL
-Rechner Neustarten und nun sollte Vista Starten
-Start
-Zubehör
-Eingabeaufforderung (Als Administrator ausführen)
-cd\
-C:
-cd windows\system32
-Bcdedit /create {ntldr} -d Windows XP
-Bcdedit /set {ntldr} device partition=C: (Partition/Laufwerk angeben wo Vista installiert ist)
-Bcdedit /set {ntldr} path \ntldr
-Bcdedit /displayorder {ntldr} -addlast

Wenn du lust hast ein bisschen rumzufummeln:

Es gibt möglichkeiten, eine Grub version auf windows laufen zu lassen. und der ist in der lage, vista zu booten.

am einfachsten machst du das, in dem du ubuntu installierst ...

dann nutzt du den linux-bootmanager (GRUB), der erkennt alle anderen systeme automatisch und kann sie alle starten.

nur für den fall, dass du (a) platz hast und (b) sowieso mal ubuntu ausprobieren wolltest
