Boot device priority - BIOS

Hallo,

immer wenn eine neue Festplatte ans System angeschlossen wird (oder eine entfernt wird), würfelt das BIOS die Boot-Reihenfolge durcheinander. Ich muß da jedes Mal wieder die Priorität neu abspeichern. Gibts dafür irgendeine Lösung?

Merkwürdig. Würde es nicht viel mehr Sinn machen wenn das BIOS einfach die SATA-Slots in einer Reihenfolge abspeichert und gut is?

Hast du keine alte IDE Festplatte mehr rumliegen? Bei denen musste man vonn Hand bestimmen(Jumper), von welcher Platte man bootet...

Bei SATA kann man glaub ich nur noch auf 1,5GB/S "runter" jumpern (cooles Deutsch;)), wenn es das Board nicht kann/konnte. Keine Ahnung ob das noch aktuel ist.
