Aquaero 5 - Tach plug

Monday, June 6th 2011, 6:42pm

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how to use the 3 pin plug labeled 'Tacho' on the far right of the Aquaero 5 - I can't find anything in the menus that will allow me to display the output of this tach plug; I've got my pump tach wire plugged into this and all the other 4 fan channels used... would love to see the output and not have that Tach. plug wasted. Is this plug not activated or am I just not seeing where the settings for it are?

Thanks!

This is used to send a tach signal to a motherboard fan header, I dont think the feature is activated yet. Its not a reciever port its a sender port so you can trigger an event via CPU bios or software such as shutdown.
I am Intel of Borg. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

Ah really? Cool feature, though I was hoping it was another tach header - but then, that'd be a waste. Makes sense now - thank you for the reply :)
