All working fine for me.. I love having the alarm config now, so much easier to setup!

I exported my profiles and monitoring pages and the profiles were wiped in the firmware upgrade but they loaded fine from my export. The last monitoring/overview page doesnt import though, I just get yellow triangle. The original default overview page loads fine though.

It looks like they just released Beta 12 and new firmware today. I've downloaded it and will give it a try. My system is not fully set up, though. I need to do the biennial maintenance, and will fully integrate the AE 5 LT, sensors, etc. at that time. Been delayed due to my dog having a 100% intestinal blockage (fur, fiber, thread, and fabric ball clogging things up). She needed several days, post op, with an IV, careful care, etc. Stitches came out yesterday, and she is fine, so I am free to get back to work on projects now.

Badger: I have the .exe files for Aquasuite Beta 9, Beta 10, Beta 11, and Beta 12. If you would like one of those, PM me and I can send you one. They are around 3MB each, so if you have download limits with your ISP, take that into consideration. Last night my whole computer was fully scanned by Norton Internet Security, latest version with all updates, so the Aquasuite files are clean. But you should ALWAYS scan and verify ANY file anyone sends you.

Could someone clarify what is the current status of any data logging features of Aquasuite ? It has been on the promissed features list for long time and it seems it's still there.

Actually as some of you may remember I was testing Aquasuite since beta version 1, next version 2 and version 3 which was finally working as expected for me, after some kind of USB conflict was resolved. Since then I wasn't updating at all - I had everything I wanted - I was able to configure the Pro version without playing for hours with tiny buttons to enter names and parameters of every sensor and controller and the regulation routines were (and still are) working as expected, so why upgrade and set everything again every update, right ?

Back then (it was May 2011, nearly 9 monts ago) I finished my uber rack in the hardware area (actually it was finished near february but I was waiting for shipping Aquaero and getting it to work with Aquasuite) and a month later it was almost complete in the software area. Almost, since I've switched to Windows 7 fully and installed + configured hundreds of software, and since I'm a bit OCD about this it had to be pixel-perfect. It wasn't fully complete until yesterday when author of ATI Tray Tools finally released private beta of his software acting upon my request and giving full support for reading two GPUs parameters and sending their data via shared memory to other applications - in my case my own custom Samurize plugin.

So the only thing left now for me to finish this project is getting Samurize to talk to Aquasuite. I know, Shoggy many times stated that there will be no support for Samurize as this project is dead. Actually there is no need for dedicated support. Simply logging to any human-readeable format (XML is preffered, but CSV and INI can be used too) of user selected data (mainly sensor values or other calculated data such as power consumption) at user selected time interval (e.g. every minute) is fine. It doesn't really matter would that be a file that gets overwritten everytime or some kind of FIFO file with last few reading logged. It's still at the top of mine (and I belive others too) wishlist.

And to clarify things again. Samurize might seem to be dead. Yes, last final version was released more than 4 years ago. But if you look into so-called desktop modding boards out there almost every serious user who wants more than default Windows UI (and this comes along with hardware modding which of course liquid cooling is a part of) is using some kind of desktop monitoring solution. Of course there is Rainmeter, Desktop Sidebar and many more, but still Samurize is top solution for this. I'm actually frequent guest at such boards (and admin at one of them) so I know what I'm talikng. Also note, that the case of future development of Samurize is not closed. Version 1.64.3 (last stable) was written in Delphi 5, which was already very old back then. Original author (AdamC) is not using Delphi anymore (he has moved to .NET in VS), thus he has no interest in keeping it alive. He gave away all the sources to UziQ, which is other admin at samurize.com. He, along with me and few others ported the sources to Delphi 2010 and next XE2 (as I am working daily as Delphi programmer so it wasn't any problem). This update bringed full support for Unicode, ClearType and other new features along such as Aero preview and Filip 3D support and much better math module. The problem is that the updated version can not be released public, since portions of it has been used in a commercial software, that I don't want to advertise in here. Since then the whole project kinda stucked which doesn't mean it's dead - there many private users of the updated version out there, while the old one is still working fine even in Windows 7. Ok, so my point is that calling it stalled - fine, dead - not quite.

Installed Beta 12, so far so good (Tubemeter only reads level so far and again only works in a glass of water, won't read properly in my distilled watercooling system).


The firmware update went ok but the message at the end of the update is still in German (with the OK button). Can we get this message in English as well please?

so i installed beta 12. when i try to update the firmware i get the following error:

Error, reflash firmware! *thanks for the english error messages btw
Die aquasuite wird beendet. Bitten warten Sie bis das Gerat neu gestartet ist.

same thing happened starting with beta 11. i had to hard reset the aquaero just to flash it.

any ideas? i don't want to have to hard reset the aquaero everytime a firmware update is needed.

Since upgrading to Beta 11 and then 12, I have an issue whereby Aquasuite will just stop communicating over USB. When I restart Aquasuite after noticing, I get the following on my overview page:

Then if I click into the settings further, I get an app crash, which I'm assuming is a .net error:

Motherboard is an Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z. Anyone have any ideas?
It was working fine before 11 & 12.

SPOONER, did you disconnect the USB plug at all? It sounds like your USB cable is plugged in upside down on the Motherboard's header. Those errors will show up if a USB cable is not connected or connected upside down on the motherboard.

It cant be the USB cable, as I havn't touched it since my original install. Aquasuite works fine for about 1-2 hours, then my overview page just stops updating. When I restart AQS, it just throws up the exclamation marks, and then that big popup error.
The unit itself works fine on its own.

That is quite odd. Try uninstalling all AQS files, including profiles. Re-download and install. See if that clears everything up. Also, make sure the firmware version is the correct for the software version. You might have already done this, just throwing a suggestion out.

Any chance on adding information pages to cover fans 5-10?

Or even better, allow custom information pages to allow for example fans 1,3,5,8 or temp sensors 1.4,8,10 to be on the same information page?

So this beta release cycle for Aquasuite 2012 has been in progress for almost a year. I'm just wondering if a final release is near or are several more beta releases more likely?

Am also getting net crashes with a ME4-Z (Win7x64SP1). The actual crashes are rare, it is more often that the Aquastream water temp goes weird, after which need to disconnect/connect the Aquaero USB to get it back.
I am therefore suspecting the Aquastream is one of the problems here.

One quick fix that worked for me in getting rid of the net errors is to put computer to sleep (or i guess power down) and switch the aquaero usb to another mobo header.

Nearly all the Aquastream problems seem to come when resuming from sleep. They used to occur 90% of the time - now it is around 10% (due to - this). A rough guess is that, when another usb device is suspended (connected to same hub) it messes up the Aquaero connection - if that is not already suspended. The workaround used suspends the Aquaero earlier, but it is not always early enough. This has been pulled out of my arse - it could all be coincidence or something.

Am not sure if the Aquastream fw is up to date - actually it probably isn't due to the stupid parallel port flash method. Also i do not have the Aquastream usb connected - seem to remember that doing this gave even more grief - but was a few months ago.
I am amazed that AC hasn't sorted this out by now.

PS when i first wrote this i thought you had an Aquastream. If you do not, then maybe the sleep/resume issue is irrelevant here.

OnEdit - maybe it is worth making sure the usb hub has no other devices except the Aquaero attached. This task is not made easier by the complete lack of manufacturing info, which would easily identify the device as AquaComputers.
