Fan channel control issues

Sunday, April 8th 2012, 5:20am

Aquaero 5 Pro (run time 28hrs)

water block (AQ5 temps all <30C)

Fan 1 - DDC T1 (#1)

Fan 2 - 3 * fans

Fan 3 - DDC T1 (#2)

Fan 4 - 6 * fans

regardless of control method... rpm, power, curve, constant value etc if i select say 70% speed, the channel will run at between 79-83%
All 4 channels have same issue

Hi Grasshopper,

Check your "Minimum fan power" settings and "Hold minimum power" selection in the Fans tab of the Aquasuite.

For example, if for Channel #1 your minimum fan setting is 9V (75% of 12V), setting the Controller to 70% will default to the minimum value.

Kind regards,
Boris.

The curve will be applied to the available range - aka max-min. So if minimum is 50%, setting the target value to 50% will result in an output value of 75% Target = Min + % of range.
