Question about recording firmware in new processor AE5

Thursday, December 12th 2013, 2:54pm

Bought this wonderful device the last year.
Used to control fans only. Two weeks ago suddenly was lost connection with the windows program, and all fans have stopped :( . Turn off/on power and fans did't help.
In the analysis of problems became clear, that burned down CPU MCF51JM128VLK (basked voltage regulator L0RA, and it's ok with are disconnected Vdd pins of CPU, the multimeter showed resistance 70 Ohm between Vdd-Vss).
I want to buy a new processor and recording firmware. It is real or not? ?(

You cannot program the frimware on a blank controller.
Why??? Even with using programming device? Or is it due to the "Security circuitry to prevent unauthorized access to RAM and flash contents"?

So, can I do something to restore normal working of Aquaero 5 in my case? Or device for 130€ must go to recycle...
Can I order a new microcontroller with program only?
