Which mps flow sensor should I choose?

Sunday, March 2nd 2014, 7:10pm

Hi everybody
I have a loop powerd by a Laing DDC-T1 with AC kryos CPU block. (...and in the near future a AC kryographics GPU block.)
Which flow sensor should i choose?
The mps 100, the mps 200 or the mps 400?

The mps 400 is really the only choice.

It comes down to the range of each sensor. In any modern loop including the one you describe it should be quite easy to have a max flow over 3.3 LPM and no reason to have a flow lower than 1.3 LPM. That is the max of the 200 model and min of the 400 model.
The 200 models will measure down to under 1 LPM but what is the point? It would have to be an extremely low power pump to have flow that low. In my CPU / GPU / twin rads / flow meter loop the pump simply won't go below 1.6 LPM at minimum speed.
The 100? I don't know why anyone would want to measure a flow of 350 ML /minute
