Why can't ramplex full copper edition RAM-cooler, G1/4 be used on newer than DDR3?

Thursday, January 22nd 2015, 2:25pm

I have looked at the waterblock ramplex full copper edition RAM-cooler, G1/4 and wondered at the limitation of ramblocks up to DDR3.

Is it only because of the length/height of heat conducting blades or are there any other reasons?

Is there a schematic to be found as I'm not sure if it can fit on my motherboard due to close proximity to VRM riserboard? (asus)
