Aquaero Feature - Deteching PC Crash

Thursday, March 24th 2016, 7:48pm

Hello!

First time posting in here!

So i've been looking for a way for my Aquaero 6 to detect if my PC has crashed which will then prompt a manual reset via the relay, but so far i have come up with nothing. it feels like this should be quite a simple thing to achieve, perhaps with software update or perhaps a more elaborate way which has eluded me.

I was wondering if anyone else has managed to achieve this or knows of anyone who has?

Thanks!

hi,
you can try it with an software sensor and a fallback value.
Under normal conditions a monitoring software send a temperature value (hwinfo).
If the aquaero receive no valid temperature (timeout) it goes to a fallback temperature.
When you configure an alarm to this temperature you can trigger the relay with an alarm trigger.
