no, unless you have problems with your monitor (happens sometimes if the pump is near to the monitor).

there is no evidence that problems with harddisks were caused by the pump.

but, I prefer to install the AS on the floor of the case. it is easier to fill your system. when you installed your pump in the aquabay, in my opinion (and experiences) it is hard to get the water out of the aquabay into the AS, even if you installed some angles.
Yeah thats really true. it was much easier to fill the system when it still was on my pc's floor. but well, in my opinion it looks much more tidy in the aquabay
btw, i dont use an FJM as well, works fine for me, no problems ever.
