HiFlow 2 + quadro & HwInfo

Sunday, May 21st 2023, 7:08pm

I just cleaned my loop and am getting great temperatures once more. Since day 1 I used the temperature sensor in the HighFlow 2 (not lite or next) but I had another sensor in my parts bag. I connected it up and updated aquasuite. I can see the new temperature reading in HwInfo so I have it as a value on the OSD (RTSS riva tuner statistics server) (namely Amb for ambient temp).

I made a virtual software sensor for Delta T. Water temp minus ambient temp. I want to see the delta temp as a HwInfo value displayed on the OSD via RTSS. Is this possible?

Also am I getting a below ambient water temperature at idle?

if your sensor is somewhere in the case ("ram slots" in the virtual sensor?) it will be hotter than ambient. you'd have to put it outside of the case, or at an air intake, away from any warm air exhaust.
To see that virtual sensor in HWinfo, you have to import it to one of your Quadro software sensors. It will then appear in HWinfo in the Quadro section.

Thankyou very much, it showed up right away. :D
I will rename the air temp sensor to case temp.
