DDC waterpump not correctly scaling with Output within Aquasuite

Friday, February 27th 2026, 11:57am

Hi there.

I have a DDC 4.2 PWM pump connected to a Quadro controller which maxes out @ 4460 RPM when the output power slider is set to 45% and beyond within Aquasuite (version X.85). It is not really a problem because the waterpump is working and adjustable, but I would like it to scale 1:1 like my PWM fans do which are connected to the same controller. It just makes it easier to oversee when setting up curves and such.

I tried adjusting this under the 'Controller Override' settings but I couldn't figure it out. Am I missing something ?

you need to set the output scale to 0.5.

when setting 100% PWM on your curve, the controller will output 50% to put the pump at full speed.
Edit : i use a DDC so it's tested and working :p

While you're at it you can even create a virtual sensor to divide the pump RPM reading by 2 to get the real impeller speed. looks nicer on the dashboard

Is the impellor speed half of the reported pump RPM? Is this specific to the DDC pump or does it also apply to the D5 Next pump?
