Ultitube non pro and non pressure relief cap wont hold pressure.

I’ve verified that it won’t hold pressure for > 10 seconds. I do not have the pro, just the ultitube d5. The flat ring seal is on the top, the D5 has its own built in seal for the glass connection, and the pump has its o-ring on the bottom. It should hold pressure. What am I missing?

Perhaps the base or lid isn't tightened securely enough?

You can also try rotating the glass tube by 180° to see if that helps.
