I don't think it is about Nazis, although I do agree it is comparing the current Governemnt to the Nazis, "A yellow ribbon INSTEAD of a Swastika", which is refereing to the song 'Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree'. This means instead of the infamous swastika, the western world has a comercual love song.
why is it you don't know about Nazism in Germany? is it banned from being taught or something?

A yellow ribbon was most recently used to show support of US troops in the Gulf War, the focus of the song. A swastika is the symbol of the Nazi Party, now illegal, in Germany, and of Nazism in general.
