Aquaero VFD display

Hello all,
Can someone tell me the difference between the VFD display and the normal one please. Any links to pic appreciated.

The difference is, that you can read the text on the VFD from every point in the room without seeing a difference in the colour.

So basically the vfd is a led dot matrix style and the cheaper one is a LCD ?

The main difference is that a LCD display shows up as black lettering on a colored background. The VFD display only lights the individual characters it needs to display, thus no backlighting is needed. Therefore you get a nice clean easy to read text :D
