aquagraFX compatible with leadtek 6600 gt pci-E?

Saturday, March 26th 2005, 10:25pm

Gd all,

I would like to know if the aquagraFX 6600 pci-E would fit my graka: a Leadtek Winfast 6600 GT pci-E.
I ask this because: i spotted that some people had fitting issues with a 6600 GT from XFX.

Also i have to know the measurements from the screwholes to the out side, for knowing if it fits my case.(a silentmaxx st-11 with isolation)

If someone can help me with these 2questions it would be awsome! 8)
Greetz and good easter days toyall,
...

Do you have a picture of the card?
Did you write an email to the manufacturer if the card is built in reference design?

The picture you showed appears to be the reference design and looks similar to my ASUS 6600 GT if it helps any. The so called non-reference ones that are known as 2nd version or generation have a more circular pattern to the ram chips and are primarily associated with 6800 Ultra chips. Depending on the height of the ram chips relative to the height of the GPU sometimes makes for some problems, but most people just slosh a little more thermal grease on and forget about it. ;D IIRC, the Leadtek 6800 Ultra video cards are of the so called non-reference design but not the 6600 or plain vanilla 6800 series.
