Controling CPU Temprature

Hi all !!!
just a Rookie question !!! how can i attach the temprature sensor, to the CPU ( CORE 2 DUO ) !?
anyone have this problem !?

You can atach a sensor to the Cpu cooler but not between the cooler and the cpu die. Attach it aside or on top of the cooler.
